Who should invest in LTF? 
•    The investors who have income and pay personal income tax.
•    The investors who can take risk from investment in shares where they will have an opportunity to gain the return from the increase of price and they will benefit from tax- saving.
•    After investment, the investors must hold their investment units not less than 7 calendar years.

Conditions of Investment in LTF

  • Maximum 15% of assessable income but not exceeding 500,000 Baht
  • Must hold their investment units not less than 7 calendar years
  • Continuous investment is not required.
  • No minimum investment
  • Have no right to invest after the end of 2019
  • No tax payable for the deceased and the disabled 


Who should invest in RMF? 


•    The investors who have income and pay personal income tax.
•    The investors who wish to save their money and to invest in order that they will have expenses after retirement.
•    The investors who wish to benefit from tax-saving.
•    The investors must continuously invest until their full 55 years of age.

Conditions of Investment in RMF

  • Maximum 15% of assessable income (PVD/Government Pension Fund + RMF +  Pension Insurance + Private Teacher Aid Fund). The total amount mentioned above must not exceed 500,000 Baht.
  • Must invest not less than 3% of assessable income or 5,000 Baht (whichever is less) 
  • Must hold their investment units not less than 5 calendar years and not being under 55 years of age
  • Must continuously invest every year.
  • Upon retirement, no tax payable (Reminder: They must hold investment units not less than 5 years).
  • Upon death, no tax payable 
  • Upon disability, no tax payable 

Condition of Redemption

  • Must redeem while the investors are over 55 full years of age, and must count number of year where the last day of previous year meets the first day of following year
  • Must hold RMF not less than 5 years from the date of first purchase and will count the year of RMF’s purchase only
