Announcement of Principal Asset Management Company limited No. 011/2026 Subject: Suspension of Subscription, Redemption and Switching Orders for Fund Termination of Principal Global Small Cap Equity Fund
As Principal Asset Management Co., Ltd. (the “Management Company”) has established the Principal Global Small Cap Equity Fund (PRINCIPAL GSCEQ) (the “Fund”) and has managed the Fund up to the present.
The Management Company would like to inform all unitholders that the acceptance of subscription, redemption and switching order of the Fund will be suspended in order to proceed with the fund’s termination. This action is taken because the Principal Global Investors Funds – Origin Global Smaller Companies Fund, which is the master fund of the Fund, has a fund size below US$50 million, in accordance with the conditions for the termination of the master fund. In addition, the Principal Global Small Cap Equity Fund has a total sold unit value calculated based on the Fund’s par value of less than THB 50 million, and the Management Company intends to terminate the Fund, in accordance with the dissolution conditions specified in the Fund’s prospectus.
The Management Company has considered this matter and is of the opinion that the Fund’s size has continued to decline, resulting in the Management Company being unable to manage the Fund with optimal efficiency. In addition, the proportion of the Fund’s expenses has increased, creating an undue burden on the Fund and its unitholders. Therefore, in order to protect the best interests of unitholders, the Management Company intends to terminate the Fund. The acceptance of subscription, redemption, and switching orders will be suspended from 3rd February 2026 onward. After the securities or assets of the Fund have been liquidated to pay the redemption proceeds to unitholders, the Management Company will proceed with the termination and liquidation of the Fund
