In 2018, we shared Principal Financial Group was increasing its ownership stake in CIMB-Principal Asset Management Berhad from 40% to 60%. We're now excited to be known as 'Principal'.

But, it’s more than a name change – we have a renewed focus to help bring the global purpose of Principal Financial Group to you: Simplifying investing and helping our customers make progress on their long-term retirement and financial goals. we’re able to enhance our local investment expertise with expanded global perspectives and investment capabilities from a company in business for 145 years.
